i hate liars

Kisaragi:

如月 桃 ღ * } Noticing how his expression didn’t really turn into amusement got her into a thinking phase. She had never seen the boy in a serious way, had she? It made her wonder how he was always laughing, always smirking, always playing around. . That was at least what she thought, but she didn’t even know him that well to begin concluding such ideas.

His voice once again shook her out of her bubble.

               “Ah? Oh yeah.”

But another proposal was what got her even more out of cool.

“A movie? Uh. . Sure, sounds nice, yeah.” Hoping if they did go, the pair wouldn’t cause much havoc or any mischief, considering the attention-bringer was being strolled along as well as the comical deceiver.

“Sounds cool.” She reassured with a thumbs up, trying to reassure herself as well, would that end okay? “What type of movie though? I s’ppose you like something to do with laughter?”

                   - - Just no horror- please.

{ K } ➤ How typical of him.

Of course Kano, the ten-person comedy act compiled inside one body, would be brushed off as a lover of all comedy. Of course. But to be honest, he despised comedies. He enjoyed puns, but just hated the tastelessness of the content of most shows. How serious things are quickly dismissed with the boring sitcom laughter, and how some petty little thing builds up the entire plot. Maybe it reminded him a bit of himself? Pssh, no, he was not even that low. Talk about stupid.

“Uh… I don’t like comedies, sorry. Aha, they’re usually not as funny as the critics make out, ya know… Oh! How about a ghost movie?“

He never really had a thing for horror either; it just didn’t appeal to him. He didn’t scare too easy… It was more of the horrible acting that disgusted him. He would rather spend the movie time staring at Kido screaming some gibberish about a murderer than pay attention to the plot. Wait. But Momo was not Kido, and though screams in general were amusing, to see her nervous was not quite the best bonding material.  ”…Aha, second thought, that’s no fun. Sorry, that was kinda insensitive, my bad.“

Hnn… This was a hard decision. Romantic flicks were boring. Anything above PG-13 would dump him in the same group as Shintaro. Gross. Drama? No, the acting in that was vomit-worthy. Action? Adventure? Wait – did that stuff appeal to a girl? It appealed to Kido, but she hardly counted… A musical maybe? Oh hell, no. Wow. He should have really thought this through at first.

"Oh… Wait, I think you’re right, ahaha. I’m kinda in the mood for something dealing with laughter. Today sucks, and some comedies are actually really great pick-me-ups. Any particulars in mind?”
